Job purpose:
You are part of the Device Connectors Sales team to identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales with the full range of Phoenix Contact products in both new and existing customers.
Creating a long-term business partnership and achievement of Regional DC Sales goals are ensured through a professional customer approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieving the overall Sales target with positive contribution margin in the assigned set of customers
- Maintaining a collaborative and aligned relationship as an integral part of the BA DC SEA Sales & Marketing Team
- Develop new customers and manage existing accounts.
- Regular customer engagement to foster a positive relationship.
- Maintaining a collaborative relationship with supporting departments with SEA Finance & Controlling, Supply Chain Management, Marketing Communication, Quality & Assurance.
- Assist Regional Sales Manager in timely report submission, other sales-related matters and ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned
- Updated with recent industrial and market business knowledge on area of responsibility:
- By representing the company in attending industrial events and fairs, roadshows and formal business functions
- Knowledge transfer within the BA DC SEA Sales & Marketing Team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years in Indoor Sales experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft office application especially in MS Excel and MS Words
- Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Fluent in English in both written and spoken.
- Pleasant personality with initiative and customer-oriented.
- Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
- Detail oriented, resourceful and ability to work independently.
