Main duties
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities in Asia in the energy transition domain.
- Construction and maintenance of detailed financial models
- Support of due diligence work streams, transaction documentation and overall transaction execution for proposed investments
- Preparation of investment committee materials, internal memoranda and other transaction documents
- In-depth research in respect of relevant geographies, technologies and business models
- Review of portfolio performances and analysis of results for stakeholders Skills required
- Strong academic credentials in business / economics / engineering and mastery of relevant corporate finance (valuation, budgeting, accounting etc.) concepts
- 1-2 years of experience in banking, corporate finance, M&A, private equity or consulting; experience in an infrastructure or clean energy investment manager is a plus
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex financial models
- Excellent communications skills in English, additional fluency in an Asian language is a plus
- Highly structured, detail-oriented and motivated self-starter
- Constructive and collaborative approach, works well within teams and looks to identify optimal solutions for all stakeholders
