Job Description: Office Assistant
Location: Frontier Primary School, 20 Jurong West St 61, Singapore 648200
Office Assistant:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Fridays: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Note: Working hours may be adjusted based on school needs, maintaining 42 hours per week.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies and issue stationery to staff.
- Administrative Tasks:Perform filing, sorting, photocopying, and shredding documents.
- Workspace Maintenance:Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the office storeroom and immediate work area.
- Resource Distribution:Count and pack resources for distribution to staff and students.
- Delivery Coordination:Coordinate deliveries and direct them to designated venues.
- General Office Support:Cover the General Office counter when needed and during recess and dismissal times.
- First-Aid and Supplies:Track and replenish first-aid items in Special Rooms.
- Administrative Assistance:Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by School Leaders or Key Personnel.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Completed secondary school education or relevant working experience.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, resourceful, and able to prioritize work.
- Initiative-taking, capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Good team player with excellent organization skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience:
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience working in a primary school as a Office Assistant.
