Job Description: Receptionist
Location: Frontier Primary School, 20 Jurong West St 61, Singapore 648200
Duration: June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025 (or adjusted according to actual start date)
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Fridays: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Note: Working hours may be adjusted based on school needs, maintaining 42 hours per week.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Manage General Office Counter:Attend to walk-ins and phone calls, addressing stakeholders' queries.
Provide basic first aid to pupils with minor injuries.
- Mail Management:Manage incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- First-Aid and Supplies:Track and replenish first-aid items in the General Office.
- Reception Area Maintenance:Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area.
- Administrative Support:Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by School Leaders or Key Personnel.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Completed secondary school education or relevant working experience.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, resourceful, and able to prioritize work.
- Initiative-taking, capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Good team player with excellent organization skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience:
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience working in a primary school as a Receptionist.
