Responsibilities:
- To manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
- Report and provide accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of the business.
- Prepare budget forecast and publish financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, financial policies and other regulations
- Assist in new processes and system implementation as & when required.
- Any other adhoc task as assigned by immediate superior or Management.
Requirements:
- Process Diploma/Degree in Accounting or relevant professional certificates
- Experience in general ledger funcations and vessel accounting is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience preferably in ship management environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good team player with positive attitude
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, advance MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
