- Assisting the Venue Manager in the maintenance and upkeep of the Theatre venues.
- Liaising with the landlord’s operational team
- To assist in administrative matters pertaining to the Venue’s licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Consolidation of ushers' work hours for payment processing.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise a diverse group of ushers to provide efficient and friendly customer service to guests.
- Assist with the Theatre Bar operations to maximize profits and service, including product selection, ordering stock, appearance and displays, bar set up, signage, and inventory controls.
- Evaluate and coordinate integration of new technology applications as needed and required.
- Scheduling of Front-of-House ushers in a budget conscious manner.
- Oversee Venue Front-of-House set-up, including but not limited to crowd control and signage
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant Polytechnic diploma in Arts Management, hospitality or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service, facilities management and/or venue operations, preferably in a theatre performing arts environment, inclusive of supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
