JOB DESCRIPTION:


The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for the marketing and sales of Methanol products. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, they will coordinate and customise sales activities to meet regional needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Market Analysis and Planning:


· Stay informed about changes in the regional trading environment and propose strategic marketing plans to achieve Sipchem Marketing Company's (SMC) sales objectives.

· Identify potential partners and opportunities for cooperation to enhance current operations.


Product Knowledge:


· Acquire in-depth knowledge of product specifications, packaging, shipments, selling terms, conditions, competition, and customers.


Sales Planning and Management:


· Prepare sales and lifting plans based on allocation for management review and confirmation.

· Enhance product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on SMC's relative positioning.


Competitive Analysis:


· Monitor competitors' activities and disseminate relevant information to SMC's Sales and Marketing teams.


Financial Objectives:


· Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing costs.


Customer Relations:


· Act as the primary point of contact with distributors and end-users in the Asia Pacific region.

· Deliver marketing solutions and coordinate sales activities while adhering to company processes efficiently.


Cross-Functional Support:


· Support and assist the logistics and finance teams as required.


Performance Tracking:


· Follow and track the day-to-day operations of the regional sales team.

· Prepare a weekly/monthly performance report highlighting variances between target and actual realisation.


Channel Management:


· Manage existing channel relationships with clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.


This position requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies. The Sales & Marketing Executive will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and achieving business objectives in the Methanol product segment.
