Senior VP, Head Card Operations & Processing Centre

Head of Card Operations sits within Group Technology and Operations, and reports to the Singapore Head of Retail Operations. You will lead and manage the Card Operations team and build a robust and sustainable operating platform. The team consists of 3 main division covering account maintenance, application processing and charge back.

This is an exciting opportunity where the candidate is given the opportunity and management support to improve the control and service standards. He/she will also be heavily involved in key strategic projects which will not only shape the card operation but also the entire Retail Banking operations to new standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Formulate and review the service delivery strategies, policies and procedures
  • Participate in projects surrounding new business model and products for credit card operations.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal control in the operating process to minimize the risk exposure to the credit card business
  • Build a robust account maintenance, application processing and charge back processes.
  • Play a lead role in re-engineering of processes to improve productivity and service quality
  • Develop service level standards with internal and external counterparties (including card merchants)
  • Keep abreast of new changes, new products and practices within the industry.
  • Build a high performing team through development and motivation of staff.

Job Requirements

  • Has relevant retail banking operations experience in Card operations preferred
  • Has experience managing large teams(>50pax)
  • A proven track record in team management
  • Performance driven, forward looking and able to think outside of the box
  • Strong influencing, relationship building and change management skills.
  • Ability to deal with staff at all levels of organization and deliver under pressure
  • The successful candidate should possess a strong change mind-set, be highly adaptable and has excellent stakeholder management skills.
