Seeking an independent and passionate Amazon Web Services - AWS Cloud Specialist to be part of Cloud implementation projects.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Technology or related field;
- At least 1-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure role with 2 years in Amazon cloud related experience;
- Hands on experience in AWS Services (EC2, Network, ELB, S3/EBS, etc.)
- Experience in implementing cloud automation with application deployment;
- Solid expertise in designing and deployment of cloud based solutions using Terraform, Ansible, cloud formation;
- Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.;
- Experience in CI/CD frameworks like Puppet, Maven, AWS Code Commit, AWS CodeDeploy;
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling;
- Strong communication skills to interact with various audiences and groups, whether technical, business or executive;
- Flexible to work on weekends and non-business hours;

AWS Certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design, test and implement Cloud based system architectures for Amazon Web Services;
- Provide technical expertise to define and support the delivery of applications leveraging a cloud based architecture;
- Consolidate accounts in AWS organisations along with defining policies and standards for AWS organisation;
- Design transformations of on-premise connectivity to public cloud;
- Actively involved in Virtual private cloud (VPC) architecture;
- Develop architecture to ensure system stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability;
- Evaluate and recommend technology or solution based on technical capabilities, functionalities, costs vs benefits and risks criteria;
- Define, document and communicate AWS cloud management activities and inventory;
- Continually grow and develop new skills for hybrid cloud.
