Marina Technology and Construction Pte Ltd is a leading marine construction company committed to fostering a safe and healthy work environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WSHE Officer to join our team and contribute to our commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
As a WSHE Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Discharging duties as per the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations, and Environmental Public Health Act.
- Implementing and maintaining proper procedures for WSHE management, administrative tasks, and recording systems.
- Assisting the WSHE committee chairman, acting as the committee secretary, and providing guidance to members in carrying out their safety duties.
- Conducting team/individual WSHE inspections, producing relevant reports, and ensuring follow-ups.
- Organizing/conducting WSHE briefings/training sessions for all employees.
- Investigating every incident/accident and developing preventive measures.
- Ensuring the implementation of risk assessment control measures for all activities.
- Being prepared to stop work or notify the Site Manager in the event of any WSHE deviations.
To provide in-depth knowledge of WSHE legal guidelines to advise and facilitate site activities.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Minimum Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health, and Environment as stipulated in the Singapore Ministry of Manpower’s accepted WSH-related qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Construction industry.
- Registered WSHO with Ministry of Manpower.
- Registered Environmental Control Officer with National Environment Agency.
- All other relevant certificates will be considered
