We are searching for an Executive (Strategic Communications) to join our Singapore office. This is an entry-level position.
Research and insights
- Acts as a critical source of research and background intelligence for both clients and new business development.
- Understands the difference between research and insight and is developing capabilities to begin to provide insights.
- Uses critical thinking to analyse, synthesis and evaluate information to reach conclusions.
- Undertakes research with a considered and intelligent approach in order to present findings and recommendations in a concise and informative way.
- Supports the delivery of high-quality briefings/summaries for activities such as industry developments, high profile opportunities, and company backgrounders.
Monitoring
- Compiles regular analysis and summary reports in a timely manner (including channels such as traditional and digital media, political, and stakeholder events/commentary).
- Flags important/relevant news, trends and issues to client teams.
- Analyses social media conversations, events and trends and translates this analysis into succinct summaries.
- Comfortable using a range of tools to provide digital listening and reporting.
Writing
- Has good writing skills and is able to adapt style to different requirements.
- Produces well structured, accurate and proofed materials.
Clients
- Understands client businesses and sectors to provide teams with competitor and sector intelligence.
- Develops expertise in relevant client sectors/industries to contribute to broader strategy, execution, and counsel.
Account Management
- Supports account coordination.
- Supports in coordinating client status and reporting, minuting meetings, action items, and WIPs/activity reports
Growth
- Actively participates in the research for new business pitches, turning research into insight and contributing to the overall strategy.
- Capable of acting as an ambassador for the consultancy, representing the breadth of our offer.
- Seeks opportunities to network and introduce Wacshman to new contacts.
