- Evaluate and assess the consolidated financial statements for the organization.
- Review financial data to offer a thorough analysis of the company's finances,facilitating informed decision-making.
- Analyse monthly management accounts.
- Assume leadership of the accounts receivable ("AR") department, including the review of AR invoices and related reports.
- Assume leadership of the accounts receivable ("AP") department, including the review of AP invoices and related reports.
- Generate financial reports for owners of maritime assets.
- Lead efforts related to Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Offer support in various tax-related matters.
- Collaborate on the implementation of new financial systems.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the finance team members reporting to this role.
- Offer assistance as needed during monthly and yearly financial closings.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned periodically.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy
- Prefer with CPA certification
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in related industry
