Job Description:
- Leads team of QS for tenders and projects.
- Preparation of construction contracts and negotiate revisions, change and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Preparation of tender submission and pre-tender pricing verifications.
- Site verifications of variation and taking records for submission of claim.
- Preparation of main contracts and involve from pre-contract stage to post-contract stage.
- Preparation of final accounts.
- Prepare, monitor co-ordinate and follow-up contractual claims and keeping of subject files of the same.
- Liaise with sub-contractors for clarification and negotiation process.
- Monitors the cost on all phases of planning and construction with the parties concerned.
- Work closely with PM in preparing monthly updated project progress and costing.
- Working experience in main contractor firm is an advantage.
- Meticulous and able to work independently.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years above contract management.
- Thorough knowledge of the Singapore public contracts.
- In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing and industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both in English and Mandarin.
- Class 3 driving license (if any).
