Trade Finance Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handles end-to-end processing of trade finance transactions such as Letters of Credit (LC) issuance, Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC) issuance, banker’s guarantee issuance, etc.
  • Review and ensure workability of LC/SBLC formats and liaising with Bank to clear these formats.
  • Handles settlement/preparation of payments and budgeting.
  • Tracking and updating of trade utilisation.
  • Monitor repayments from customers.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Operations team, suppliers and customers.
  • Undertake additional functions and duties when required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, International Business or Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations.
  • Strong time management skills and meticulous.
  • Strong knowledge of Trade finance and Letters of Credit.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (For eg. Excel) would be an advantage.
