Responsibilities:
- Monitor all financial aspects of the project to ensure the project is within the budget.
- Liaise, coordinate, and have a good rapport with the team members, consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and architects
- Prepare and analyze cost comparison
- Obtaining quotations, liaising, and negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
- Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders, and payments to subcontractors
- Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
- Responsible for post-contract administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts
- Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
- Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers, and contractors on certification of claims for payment
- Be familiar with various stages of projects to source for the most viable yet reasonably priced materials
Requirement:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field discipline
- Minimum 8 years of M&E QS work experience in the Construction industry
- Experience in handling tendering large-scale building projects. Experience in healthcare buildings is advantageous
