Business Development Manager
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
To develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue.
- To develop a network of new customer contacts.
- To maintain good relationships with existing clients.
- To research new market opportunities and generate new leads.
- To develop product positioning and awareness in the market.
- To plan the launch of new products and develop strategies to heighten demand for products.
- To make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
- To ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
Education, Experience and Key Competencies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business developing roles in the system furniture industry.
- A drive to seek new business.
- Confident and dynamic personality.
- Must be a strong effective communicator.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.
- Experience in making presentations.
- Experience in system furniture sales is preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
