Business Development Manager

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

To develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue.

  • To develop a network of new customer contacts.
  • To maintain good relationships with existing clients.
  • To research new market opportunities and generate new leads.
  • To develop product positioning and awareness in the market.
  • To plan the launch of new products and develop strategies to heighten demand for products.
  • To make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • To ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships

Education, Experience and Key Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business developing roles in the system furniture industry.
  • A drive to seek new business.
  • Confident and dynamic personality.
  • Must be a strong effective communicator.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Experience in making presentations.
  • Experience in system furniture sales is preferred.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
