· Provide leadership and train the production workers on the factory floor.
· Ensure the team leaders understand customers’ requirements and deliver the expected outcomes according to quality standards and customers’ schedules.
· Show workers how to execute difficult tasks.
· Ensure the production work is fairly distributed among the workers.
· Ensure the workers are trained in safe practices and follow procedures in their specific areas of work.
· Ensure effective communication between supervisors and team members.
· Monitor production flow and assist when required.
· Conduct briefings to workers when necessary and follow through to ensure work is carried out as instructed.
· Look for solutions to deal with production problems and influence staff to work as a team.
· Check finished products to ensure quality and quantity are met before timely delivery to customers.
