Job Description
- Provides secretarial and administrative support
- Handles confidential information
- Manage appointments and meetings
- Assisting in preparation of fee quotations, engagement letters and translation of clients’ instructions from Mandarin to English and vice versa
- Preparing legal documents and court bundles
- Preparing of bills
- Assist with incorporation of new companies
- Undertaking other general administrative tasks – filing, printing, scanning, etc
- Coordination and logistics for meetings, document despatch and delivery, etc
- Provide status updates and track progress from time to time
- Ad-hoc administrative duties and support to other colleagues
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma graduate
- Attended Corporate Secretarial courses – added advantage
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for dealing with Chinese clients
- Minimum 3 years in law firm
- Good command of English in both written and speaking
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Positive working attitude and a team player
- Able to work under pressure and maintain in a professional and calm demeanour
- Able to multi-task and detail oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
