Responsibilities:
· Spearhead sales initiatives for steel products while sustaining relationships with existing clientele.
· Identify and cultivate new business prospects to broaden our customer base.
· Commit to fulfilling customer requirements and surpassing expectations by fostering strong relationships.
· Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
· Prepare and present proposals and business reports in Japanese.
· Play a pivotal role in advancing the company's growth and profitability.
Job Requirements:
· A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.
· Comprehensive understanding of the steel industry and an in-depth knowledge of various steel products.
· Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a Japanese business environment, specifically in a role involving
trading within the steel industry or similar sectors.
· An established business network within the Asia Pacific markets, with a strong emphasis on Japanese markets
and an adept understanding of cultural and business norms.
· Excellent in Japanese (JLPT N1 level) and proficient in English, capable of professional-level communication in
both languages.
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
· Willingness and ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
