We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing user interfaces and user experiences. As a UI/UX Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our health IT solutions, ensuring they are visually appealing, intuitive, and align with industry best practices.
Responsibilities include user research, coming up with a design system, building figma / invision (or similar) prototypes for usability testing to get quick feedback from customers and working with the development team to ensure designs are used correctly in the product.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software, wireframe tools and user research techniques. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web,mobile applications, we’d like to talk to you!
Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’
needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and clients to understand user needs and project requirements.
- Design and prototype graphic user interfaces elements like menus, tabs and widgets
for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools .
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iteratively improve the user experience.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to health IT and healthcare industry standards.(Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images)
- Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the final product.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a positive design culture within the organization Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Requirements and skills
- 4 to 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Experience with responsive design for web and mobile applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
