Responsibilities:
- Manage the ship ops readiness status of >90% monthly
- Monitoring and follow up of ships' defects promptly
- Join assessment on site with relevant parties for troubleshooting.
- Scope, review and approve aspects of work including both in-house and Contractor prepared studies and engineering.
- Provide engineering inputs in technical reviews to ensure technical integrity, efficiency, and safety of facilities.
- Conduct inspections, functional tests on site or workshop with relevant parties.
- Ensure that all work is done in a manner consistent with Company’s guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
- NTC/Diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Marine engineering field
- Preferably with 2-5 years’ working experience in marine related industry
- Knowledge of ship repairs, steelworks, fabrication works and NDT will be advantageous
- Able to read drawings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in supervising workers and subcontractors in yard environment
- Proficient in MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint for reporting purpose
