Responsibilities
- Handling full set of accounts for companies assigned including handling invoicing, purchasing, payables, receivables, receipts, payments and bank reconciliations in compliance and adherence with policies and procedures.
- Ensure transactions recorded into the accounting system timely and accurately.
- Ensure timely month-end closing and able to analyze and articulate monthly performance variances.
- Coordinate with China HQ to generate report as per requirement.
- Assist in preparation of annual budget, forecasts, and cash flow projection.
- Prepare GST filing, liaise with the external auditor and tax agent
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CA Singapore)
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word,Powerpoint)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a preferred, enabling effective communication with counterparts in China and international partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Experience in audit is an added advantage.
