Contract Period: 1 Apr 2024 to 31 Dec 2025.
Options to extend the contract : 1 Jan 2026 to 30 Nov 2026

Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To support inquiry-based learning for Science.
- To support the smooth operations of two science laboratories with a focus on enabling hands-on learning for science learning.
- To assist teachers in the preparation of materials and apparatus for science practical lessons and assessments.
- To manage, operate, care and maintain the science laboratories and science learning environment (eg., school garden and science corners)
- To source and procure equipment and materials and maintain an inventory list of consumables and keep track of inventory.
- To take responsibility for laboratory safety and may be required to serve as a certified first aider.
- To assist in classes, workshops and other events in logistic support and supervision of safe use of laboratory tools.
- To assist in General Office eg., reception duty, handle telephone calls, attend to students, parents and visitors, update sick bay record, photocopy documents, filing, inventory management and replenishment of stationery etc.
- Any other duties assigned by the School Leaders/ Administrative Manager as required by the School.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident
- NITEC Diploma or GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate
- Have at least 4 years of similar experience as a lab technician in a primary school
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to handle live specimens, such as insects and chemicals.
