JOB PURPOSE
Protects the interest of SABIC and Its affiliates in all commercial related matters, this includes offering legal advice and business counseling, analyzing, reviewing and drafting contracts while providing in a timely manner the highest quality, strategic legal support to the KSA/MEA to meet legal and compliance requirements for SABIC functions and Its affiliates. Actively participate in LEED program.
JOB KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Prepare and analyze commercial contracts and all types of commercial work.
- Review and supervise associate counsel activities in this regard.
- Provide effective legal support, work product and business counseling covering all legal practice areas and all inquiries from SABIC and its affiliates, across a broad range of commercial activities.
- Communicate and coordinate with SABIC and Its affiliates regarding facts and circumstance with respect to the respective legal position in each matter to best protect SABIC and Its affiliates interests.
- Advise, review and analyze matters relating to new and updated laws, all types of commercial work for all business units and other functions.
- To ensure full alignment and compliance with applicable Law.
- Participate in investigations related to violations of internal policies, assess and verify the legality of the concluded administrative decision to ensure that it complies with the applicable laws and regulations.
- Train, mentor and assist legal associates, LEED participants, paralegals and Coop trainees, with their commercial based assignments.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Law or Sharia
- At least 6 years of Legal experience
