We are looking for a Cargo Hold/Tank Cleaning Expert.
This position reports to the Head of Specialists Center of Cargo Solutions and is part of the WSS Cargo Solutions Team. The Cargo Hold/Tank Cleaning Expert works in an ecosystem where product solutions are developed both vertically and horizontally across product groups and segments Therefore, close cooperation with the TS&BDM’s, the Head of Product Management, Marketing Manager, Category Demand Planner and Procurement Manager. Moreover, the Cargo Hold/Tank Cleaning Expert works closely with the Commercial Excellence organization on larger customer potential and customer feedback.
What you will work on:
- Responsible for handling CHC/TC Request for Quotations within the time allocated, creating and distribute quotation to customer
- Responsible for handling technical questions and advise customers on products and cleaning procedures within liability rights
- Maintain and develop existing customers to optimize the quality of service, business growth and best customer satisfaction
- Liaise with internal Cargo Solutions Specialist team to ensure products are competitive and meet the quality required from customer
- Source and purchase products internally and externally if required
- Proactively following up quotes to determine any unsettled questions and converting to order
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude to activities, growth, and collaboration
- Good understanding of port operations, port logistics and if cleaning procedures can be performed
What you need to succeed in the role:
- Master’s degree or equivalent – formal education in engineering, technical studies and / or business administration
- 3+ years of experience from maritime industry, preferably within dry bulk/tanker segment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment
- Able to work independently, systematically and meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
- Self-driven, outgoing, flexible, proactive, seller mentality, coordination ability, service minded and full of initiative
- Proven team player and receptive to new ideas
