- Prepare Monthly Progress Claim to Client.
- Prepare Monthly Progress Payments of Sub-contractors.
- Prepare Request for Quotations for various work requirements.
- Evaluation and comparison for the received quotations.
- Prepare for Subcontract Agreement, Work Order and Purchase Order.
- Handle variation orders/claims to Client and of Sub-contractors.
- Discussion and negotiation with Client and Sub-contractor for contractual issues.
- Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
- Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance to the building and construction regulations.
- Develop cost reduction strategies to enhance the overall value of the project.
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent
- At least 1 years of relevant working experience in landed houses as a main contractor QS
- Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
- Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
