The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content across various social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and support marketing initiatives.


Responsibilities:


Creative Strategy

Collaborate with the creative team to align social media strategies with overall brand aesthetics and messaging.


Conceptualise and implement visually appealing and engaging content across multiple platforms.


Content Creation and Curation

Develop and curate visually stunning and on-brand content, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia elements.


Work closely with designers, photographers, and other creatives to produce high-quality, shareable content.


Community Building

Foster a sense of community around our clients' engagement with followers and creating interactive experiences.


Encourage user-generated content and collaborations with influencers or brand ambassadors.


Trend Spotting/Social Listening

Stay on top of current trends, pop culture, and emerging social media features to infuse creativity into campaigns.


Integrate trending topics into content when relevant and aligned with brand identity.


Monitor conversations and trends among competitors to identify opportunities and potential risks.


Innovative Campaigns

Devise and execute out-of-the-box social media campaigns that generate buzz and enhance brand visibility.


Experiment with new and emerging platforms to keep campaigns fresh and cutting-edge.


Analytics and Insights:

Regularly analyse media performance using both quantitative and qualitative metrics.


Translate data insights into actionable strategies for continuous improvement.


Cross-Platform Expertise

Possess a deep understanding of various social media platforms, their unique features, and the best practices for each.


Adapt content for different platforms while maintaining brand consistency.


Client Collaboration

Work closely with clients to understand their brand voice, goals, and preferences.


Present and explain social media strategies and campaign results to clients clearly and compellingly.


Ad Campaigns:

Manage and optimise social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.


Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to support marketing objectives.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media strategies with broader marketing initiatives.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a social media or digital marketing role within a creative agency.

- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and visually appealing social media campaigns.

- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to think creatively and strategically.

- Up-to-date with industry trends and social media platform updates.
