Job Summary:
Primary task is to assist with conducting or leading active ageing programmes. Additionally, to provide befriending and outreach services to seniors. Lastly, work closely with Managers on implementing all services needed to achieve centre’s performance indicators.
Job Description
· Assist with conducting and evaluating active ageing programmes within and outside the centre.
· Provide befriending and buddying services to frail and vulnerable elderly at their homes.
· Conduct community outreach and relevant need assessments to elderly within designated service boundary.
· Provide referral to help services for the elderly in needs.
· Perform administrative and reporting duties such as enrol new members, attendance records, visitation notes, and other data or statistics collection as required by the authorities.
· Perform tasks needed to facilitate effective centre operations.
· Perform any duties as assigned by the reporting / centre manager.
Job Requirements
· Minimum Diploma Holder.
· Experience in eldercare, healthcare or social service is preferred.
· Able to speak dialects (e.g., Hokkien, etc.) and simple Malay is desirable.
