Role: SAP Lead Architect
Required Skills:
o 7 years of consulting / implementation experience in:
o SAP HANA SAP S/4HANA (ABAP platform)
o SAP Fiori architecture SAP Integration (PO/PI) via secure file transfer, messaging, API
o SAP Infrastructure (compute/VM, storage, networking) SAP IT operations (backup/recovery, DR, monitoring, transport management)
o SAP architecture design (HA, DR, load balancing, single-sign-on, backup/restore)
o SAP archiving / ILM integrated with 3rd party solution (e.g., OpenText)
Professional skills:
o Can manage remote (offshore) team.
o Can facilitate effective discussion and meeting (as well as capture & write clear meeting minutes).
o Has conflict management skills, risk & issue management skills, project, planning & time management skills.
· Lead / co-lead technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the product fulfils the requirements.
· Work with the Infrastructure Architect to confirm high level analysis and any identified issues.
· Work with the support (or IT ops) team to determine how the system is supported in production, including backups, disaster recovery, system performance, and project management.
· Review and integrate all technical requirements, including security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
· Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations environments.
· Review technical architecture work products throughout development to ensure quality and requirement traceability.
· Ensure that the requirements tied back to the established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client’s long-term strategy.
· Develop system sizing model and then perform system/hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the solution, identify potential hardware, and network issues.
· Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the applications used by the enterprise.
· Facilitate workshops / discussions and work with the key customer representatives to understand (or help define) technical requirements and then develop ‘right-fit’ solutions that address the requirements.
· Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
· Obtain stakeholder buy-in for application and technical designs.
· Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas.
Ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews.
