We are actively seeking a highly motivated and qualified Postdoctoral Fellow to join our dynamic research team focused on studying the psychology of misinformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field and lab experiments to advance our understanding of various aspects related to misinformation, including beliefs, sharing behaviors, preexisting beliefs, characteristics affecting perceived veracity, and the effectiveness of interventions to mitigate misinformation spread.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute field and lab experiments to investigate the psychology of misinformation.
Analyze experimental data and contribute to the interpretation and dissemination of research findings.
Collaborate with research team members and contribute to the development of research strategies and methodologies.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in relevant research fields and integrate new insights into ongoing research projects.
Present research findings at conferences and other academic forums.
Qualifications
PhD in Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, or a related field relevant to decision psychology/behavioral science.
Proven experience in designing and conducting experiments in psychology or related disciplines.
Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in relevant software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through publications and presentations.
Ability to work collaboratively within a research team and independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
