We are seeking a skilled and experienced Google Cloud Applications Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to address complex business challenges. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop innovative cloud architectures that leverage GCP services to enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, and GCP services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
- Design and architect cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to meet client objectives.
- Develop high-level and detailed technical designs, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system specifications.
- Implement best practices for cloud application development, deployment, and integration.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Optimize cloud architectures for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and application development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Application Architect, or similar role.
- Strong background in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications using GCP services such as App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Firebase.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud application architecture patterns, microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud development tools and technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
