Job Responsibilities:
- Allocate jobs to mechanics and supervise work progress regularly.
- Perform required preventive/corrective maintenance task.
- Assist current mechanics evaluate mechanical problems and inspect repairs completion.
- Assemble / commission all types of construction equipment relating to company’s operations.
- Identify, assess, and take reasonable practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable safety/mechanical risk arising from the workplace or work process.
- Ensure mechanics are adhering to company’s safety rules and regulations.
- Evaluate mechanical problems in machinery using various diagnostic equipment.
- Assistcurrent mechanics evaluate mechanical problems and inspect repairs completion.
- Overhaul, rebuild, replace, or repair major machinery components, assemblies including engines, hydraulic main pumps etc.
- Estimate timeline, spares, resources required to perform major repairs.
- Analyse engine/hydraulic performance and perform tune-ups as needed.
- Maintain accurate, updated preventive / corrective maintenance records and programs.
- Manage predictive machinery excellence programs.
Requirements:
- Process Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITE Certificate in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred 8 -10 years of relevant working experience in construction.
- Good knowledge in heavy equipment diagnostics and mechanical / hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in operating equipment and tools involved in machine repair.
- Proficient in reading and understanding drawings and schematics.
