General Manager

Role Description:

The General Manager for our Food and Beverage (F&B) shop is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shop's operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The General Manager will lead a team of staff members, manage vendor relationships, optimize financial performance, and uphold the shop's reputation as a premier destination for food and beverage offerings.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. The trainee will supervise day-to-day operations of the shop. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Monitor food quality and consistency.

2. The trainee will be capable of recruiting, training, and supervising staff members. Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to meet business needs. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback. Handle employee relations and address any issues or conflicts.

3. The trainee will be able to foster a customer-centric environment. Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively. Train staff in excellent customer service practices.

4. The trainee will develop and manage the budget for the Banh Mi shop. Monitor and analyze financial performance. Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.

5. The trainee will develop and execute marketing strategies to attract customers. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

6. The trainee will be able to ensure the consistency and quality of food and service. Implement and maintain food safety standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits. Trainee will work with chefs to create and update the shop's menu. Set prices based on cost analysis, competition, and market trends.

7. The trainee will learn to establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and terms for the purchase of supplies. Trainee will prepare regular financial reports for the owners or upper management. Analyze financial data to make informed business decisions.

8. The trainee will provide ongoing training for staff to enhance their skills. Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge with the team. Implement and manage point-of-sale (POS) systems. Utilize technology for inventory management and other operational needs. 9. The trainee will participate in local events to enhance community engagement. Build relationships with the local community to promote the shop. Ensure compliance with local regulations. Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact the business.
