Job Description
This role & position would have the following responsibilities:
1. Facilitate workshops / discussions and work with the key customer representatives to understand
(or help define) technical requirements and then develop ‘right-fit’ solutions that address the
requirements.
2. Ensure that the requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals
and that the technical direction is consistent with the client’s long-term strategy.
3. Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the applications used
by the enterprise.
4. Review and integrate all technical requirements, including security, integration, performance, quality,
and operations requirements.
5. Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements for the development, execution,
and operations environments.
6. Develop system sizing model and then perform system/hardware sizing and capacity planning as
required to support the solution, identify potential hardware, and network issues.
7. Work with the Infrastructure Architect to confirm high level analysis and any identified issues.
8. Lead / co-lead technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the
product fulfills the requirements.
9. Work with the support (or IT ops) team to determine how the system is supported in production,
including backups, disaster recovery, system performance, and project management.
10. Obtain stakeholder buy-in for application and technical designs.
11. Review technical architecture work products throughout development to ensure quality and
requirement traceability.
12. Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas.
13. Ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards by participating in
quality management reviews.
14. Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
Basic qualifications
1. More than 7 years’ consulting / implementation experiences in the following SAP Technology aspects: SAP HANA SAP S/4HANA (ABAP platform) SAP Fiori
architecture SAP Integration (PO/PI) via secure file transfer, messaging, API. SAP Infrastructure (compute/VM, storage, networking)
2. SAP IT operations (backup/recovery, DR, monitoring, transport management, etc.)
3. SAP architecture design (HA, DR, load balancing, single-sign-on, backup/restore, etc.) SAP archiving / ILM integrated with 3rd party solution
(e.g., OpenText)
