Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Internal Control team in assessing and implementing internal control mechanisms.
  • Assist in reviewing SOX controls and ITGC controls, ensuring alignment with Traveloka’s Group SOX ICOFR policy.
  • Perform data analytics of business processes & controls to identify areas of concern or improvement.
  • Aid in the coordination of audit remediation processes arising from internal and external audit finding.
  • Participate in cross‐functional teams' efforts to conduct root cause analysis for fraud and other unusual activities to establish action plans to improve the controlled environment.
  • Assist in continuous improvement processes and activities, such as awareness/ training programs and sessions on audit, risk and controls.
  • Assist in regular internal control tests and reviews, ensuring compliance with SOX standards.
  • Manage the SOX Risk and Control Tool to ensure effective oversight governance within the Internal Control team.
  • Help in updating SOX documentations like Flow Charts, Narratives, and Risk Control Matrices.
  • Engage in training sessions to stay updated on compliance standards and internal control best practices.
  • Participate in various company-wide initiatives, such as reviews of policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or internal control roles.
  • 3 years of public accounting experience (Big 4) is required.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley (“SOX”) guidelines, compliance, and business processes.
  • Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to achieving high standards.
  • Good communication abilities for effective interactions with internal and external parties.
