Job Scope:
- Financial Record Keeping: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring that all transactions are correctly documented. This includes overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger.
- Budget Preparation and Management: Assist in preparing the annual budget, closely monitoring and reporting on variances between the budgeted and actual figures. Provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure these reports are accurate and comply with relevant financial regulations.
- Tax Compliance and Filing: Oversee the company’s tax planning and compliance. This includes preparing and filing GST returns, corporate income tax, and other relevant taxes in a timely manner.
- Payroll Administration: Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salaries, bonuses, deductions, and compliance with employment laws and tax regulations.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor the company’s cash flow, managing inflows and outflows effectively to maintain financial stability.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements against the company’s records to ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Audit Assistance: Provide support during internal and external audits, preparing necessary documents and implementing auditors' recommendations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide management with reports that aid in decision-making.
- Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets. Continuously look for ways to improve financial processes and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.

Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance or any other field.
Professional Certifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) : Will be an added advantage
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Work Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with software such as AutoCount, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, and advanced Excel skills are crucial for managing financial data efficiently.
- Understanding of Singapore Tax Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with Singapore's tax laws, including GST and corporate income tax, is essential.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports is critical.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience in creating and managing budgets, as well as forecasting financial performance.
- Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for liaising with various stakeholders and presenting financial information clearly.
