The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at NTU Singapore is a top 11 Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering School in the world. Surface Engineering, Metrology, Precision Engineering
Candidate Profile:
- Possess relevant Bachelor and PhD degrees from reputable universities.
- A good research track record, and postdoctoral experience would be advantageous.
- Teaching experience at either undergraduate or graduate levels will be an advantage.
- Research intersects the multidisciplinary field of Surface Engineering, Metrology, and Precision Engineering.
- Expertise in Advanced Surface Engineering, Surface Metrology, Surface Science and Characterization
- And/or Expertise in Advanced Engineering Metrology, Mechanical Metrology, Dynamic Metrology.
- And/or Expertise in Advanced Precision Engineering, Precision Metrology, Precision Optical Systems.
- And/or Expertise in Translational research work with Industry on AI/ML applications.
- Successful candidates are expected to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects. Candidates on tenure-track are expected to conduct high impact research and acquire competitive research grant and funding to sustain an active research portfolio.
