Pastry Chef

Tanglin Pastry

  • Responsible for the efficient management of the bakery and pastry kitchens including product development, ingredients sourcing, quality control, team management and food safety and hygiene
  • Ensures high quality standard of food production are maintained
  • Ensure personal knowledge of the market, standard of food and seasonal market trends
  • Ability to manage time effetively, expert communication skills and high stamina level
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchens and equipment

Requirements

  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • Organizing and leadership skills
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
