Assistant Manager/Manager, Sales and Marketing

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Assistant Manager/Manager position in Sales and Marketing. In this key role, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our brand presence, and leading a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve organizational objectives.


Key roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate :


1) Sales Leadership: Lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets across various product lines, including memberships, event sponsorships, merchandise, and corporate partnerships.


2) Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, sponsors, advertisers, and vendors, to diversify revenue streams and expand the company's client base.


3) Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the sales and marketing team, including setting performance goals, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.


4) Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives, incorporating market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis.


5) Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate leads, leveraging a mix of digital, social, and traditional marketing channels.


6) Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing content, including sales collateral, press releases, website copy, blog posts, and social media content, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand identity.


7) Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics, such as revenue growth, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and ROI, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management to inform decision-making.


8) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including sports programming, events, and operations, to align sales and marketing efforts with organizational priorities and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.


Qualifications of the suitable candidates :

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (preferred). Diploma holder with aptitude or track record may also apply.

· Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility and leadership experience.

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals to achieve common goals.

· Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce/Zoho/Metricool) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and social media is a plus.

· Passion for sports and a commitment to promoting active lifestyles and community engagement.

· This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend hours required.
