· Actively contribute to mineral and metal trading strategies.
· Manage internal research team to consolidate information base of key market drivers, physical metals & minerals import and export trends, etc.
· Provide accurate regional mineral and metal market intelligence and communicate effectively with the Head Office in a timely manner.
· Support the China team to help grow more profitable domestic businesses.
· Maintain deep, high-level, long-term relationships with suppliers and customers.
· Work closely with counterparties to ensure smooth trading flow and process.
· Inspect or supervise the loading and unloading of cargo at ports.
· Perform ad hoc tasks and assist colleagues as and when required.
· Ability to be flexible, work to deadlines, and work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, relationship building, and being a strong team player
• The applicant should possess a Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business
Management or any relevant qualification
• Minimum 5 years of trading experience
• Proven track records in trading and commercial operations
• Understanding of current and future market trends, supply and demand situations, product qualities, pricing patterns and the development of the global oil industry
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills with good analytical abilities
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
