Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the team as senior management.
- Required to perform shift duties.
- Supervise and be responsible for any flight operational issues which includes operation security, passenger handling, VIP handling, ramp area duties, and cargo operation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies to improve customer service standards.
- Ensure the safety of aircraft, operational procedures, passengers and crews.
- Ensure service quality is in satisfactory level required by Headquarter.
- Ensure all operational tasks are completed efficiently within specified time frames.
- Responsible for on-time operational performance set by Headquarter.
- Perform administrative functions as management, including budget planning, training, facilitating visitors, and social networking with local community including airport authorities.
- Coordinate the necessary process and preparation with relevant parties both in and out of country and attend VIP to make sure the requirement for their travel is met.
- Report to and communicate smoothly and effectively with Headquarter in Tokyo for any required situations, especially during flight irregularity.
- Manage the team’s performance including outsourcing partners based on the agreed policy with Headquarter.
Requirements
- Degree/Master in any discipline.
- Possess more than 20 years’ experience in airline or aviation industry and more than 10 years’ experience focusing on airport operational field.
- Possess deep knowledge in airport operation, safety regulations, passenger handling and ramp duties.
- Proficiency in English as well as Japanese for communication including writing, reading, listening and speaking so as to make close communication, negotiation and coordination with Headquarter in Tokyo.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- Possess good sense of time management to achieve on-time performance.
- Enjoys communicating with diverse group of people of all cultures.
- Possess excellent leadership qualities, good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
- Pro-active, self-motivated individuals who works well independently and under pressure.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
- Innovative and able to adapt to industry changes.
