Responsibilities:
- Define, monitor and review HNW KPIs. Evaluate performance to targets to formulate and drive business strategies, project management and initiatives with the aim to optimise results.
- Review and ensure case management related processes (Eg. High Net Worth applications, tracking files, case updates and other related matters) are in place and operating smoothly.
- Lead the Banca / Broker Team to drive HNW sales and achieve both TWNS and NBEV budgets.
- Develop the business through engagements and trainings and ensure that Banca / Broker are well versed with the company’s value propositions and products in the market.
- Proactive to identify and develop both HNW opportunities and emerging HNW market trends.
- Actively obtain information on market gaps information and provide feedback to Head of Department.
- Support HNW product innovation and enhancement through market intelligence.
- Provide quality service and response on HNW related queries.
- Monitor and control sales activities by managing sales trend (both on-shore and off-shore), identify and resolve issues in processes and maintaining effective communication with Banca / Broker.
- Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders such as but not limiting to Case Managers, New Business Underwriting, Compliance, Customer Service to resolve issues, appeals and feedback.
- Provide regular management reports on sales performance / pipelines and business updates to the Head of Department.
- Assist Head of Department with HNW related matters.
- Ensure that relevant budgets to the Team are catered to and expenditure papers are prepared and approved.
- Ensure Team keeps audit worthiness level.
- Review SOPs related to scope of Team on an annual basis to ensure that they are updated with any changes made to processes.
- As part of the leadership team, work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation’s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the organization’s Core Values.
- Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Requirements
- Leadership, management skills and the ability to coach, motivate and retain staff
- Possesses strong business acumen
- Experience in Life Insurance product and/or business development is a mandatory pre-requisite
- Knowledge of underwriting requirements for high net worth cases is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint & Word)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude

- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
