Job Requirements:
Role : Technical Delivery Manager - Data Lake
- 12+ years of experience of Data Management Project Management experience or similar hands-on technology leadership role.
- Must have current working experience as Technical Delivery Manager (Data Management) into Banking or financial or insurance domain for at least 8+ years.
- 8+ years experience with large scale technology modernizations and platform migrations of data warehouse, data marts, reporting tools- must
- Must have current experience in Enterprise Data Lake in banking and financial services projects for at least 5+ years.
- Deep knowledge of modern data technology stacks, software development tools, application and system performance monitoring, patterns and practices required to build highly available and scalable services
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, integration, virtualization, storage, networks and security technologies in the context of Data programs
- Expertise in large databases involving Oracle, Teradata - must
- Expertise in Data Integration tools/platform Informatica, IBM Data Stage - must
- Expertise in Big Data Engineering tools/platform Cloudera, Horton Works, APACHE
- Deep expertise in HDFS, HIVE, IMPALA, Kafka, SPARK, YARN is a plus
- Has operated in a mixed portfolio of cloud-native and legacy technologies
- Recent experience with technology transformations, integrating effective Agile planning and development practices across large organizations
- Understanding the cost of trade-offs of various technology decisions and be able to model short and long-term implications.
