JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be responsible for…
§ Keeping track of detailed tasks, dependencies, and overall timeline of critical investment team initiatives.
§ Working with the team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making.
§ Proactively manage all the potential risks and issues on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required.
§ Assisting with reporting on the project status to key stakeholders.
§ Removing impediments or guiding the team by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
§ Actively participate on assigned work, fulfilling task assignments, meeting deadlines, and proactively seeking attainment of team goals. Step in and help deliver results for various teams, lowering workloads of the workstreams to ensure they can deliver business results.
§ Works with the executive sponsor to ensure that the project plan is on track with relevant risks and issues identified and communicated effectively.
§ Able to coordinate cross-team efforts and deliveries through collaboration, coordination, and support of the activities of disparate teams supporting the overall successful delivery of the project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· 8+ years of project delivery experience focused on successful execution of large, cross functional projects.
· Capital markets experience within an investment bank or consulting firm.
· Ability to interpret new regulations and partner with business to drive the identification of gaps and new requirements.
· Experience in conducting market research, financial analysis and regulatory due diligence.
· In-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
· Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
· Outstanding communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work through influence across functional boundaries to achieve goals without direct control over resources.
· Deliver results while coaching and mentoring other team members
· Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and delivery focused environment
· Bachelor’s degree; CPA / CFA preferred
