We are now looking for a Senior Regional Business Resilience Managers to bridge customer, supply chain and logistics with the traits of Business Resilience to ensure a true inherent resilient global operation to the benefit for the customer, company and shareholder.
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Resilience Implementation you will have the regional ownership of the Implementation of Business Resilience Program, including Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, Crisis Management, Risks, Mitigations, Assurance and Customer inquiries.
You will develop & deploy a strategy and plan to imbed resilience within the Regional organization, in line with continued growth, customer expectations, and prioritization of Critical Sites and business processes. Close interaction with Regional & Area Leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement Business Resilience Framework: Standardize Business Resilience in the region through Commit Rules, processes, tools, and template.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and ongoing enhancement of Business Resilience metrics and processes
- Global BR Support: Contribute to global Business Resilience initiatives and align with colleagues in the central Business Resilience function
- Regional Community Management: Lead regional knowledge-sharing communities focused on Business Resilience
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Business Resilience stakeholders to align on Commit Rule requirements and metrics
- Leadership Reporting: Provide regular Business Resilience metrics to Regional & Area Leadership Teams
- Best Practices Guidance: Advise on establishing Business Resilience practices beneficial to both the business and our customers
- Uniformity in Execution: Ensure consistency in metrics, plans, and mitigating strategies across regions through alignment with BR colleagues
- Business Resilience Annual Wheel Activities: Lead the regional participation in the annual Business Resilience activities, including documentation updates, leadership reviews, testing, and training
- Area Support: Assist in the execution of annual Business Resilience activities, offering guidance to HSSE/ S&R members and designated focal points
- Implementation and Review: Coordinate within geographical area for the practical execution and periodic review of Business Resilience plans and documentation
- Customer Assurance: Address critical customer requirements related to Business Resilience at specific locations
- Training and Development: Train and mentor Business Unit (BU) and Site BR focal points, along with HSSE managers, in Business Resilience and Incident Management (IM)
- Crisis Coordination: Manage Level 2 incidents and offer local support as needed
- Escalation: Ensure all Level 2 or higher incidents are escalated to Global Crisis Management and offer support where necessary
We're looking for:
Your people skills and having our customers in mind in all we do are most important to us as we believe that almost anything else can be taught. We expect from you that you are willing to learn and listen. We don´t need you to be a superior expert in this field of work but we do need you to have previous management experience, the ability to take in new information, plan for execution and then deliver.
The ideal candidate has completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree education in international studies, business continuity/crisis/risk management, business administration or similar (desirable) and you have prior Leadership/management or managing others without direct authority.
Ideally you have a Business Continuity Management certification or the interest in potentially obtaining one.
Furthermore you:
- Have Project Management experience
- Have experience with BC, CM, or DR, methodologies and principles.
- Have commercial savviness & collaboration across functions
- Have excellent stakeholder management skills
- Have strong results orientation
- Are a Team Player with strategic orientation and a Customer Centric mindset.
As we are a people driven, you must be able to establish working relationships with key stakeholder and gatekeepers in your region by having them trust in your ability to deliver relevant business resilience. This requires that you can communicate in English at all levels, both verbally and in writing. Previous experience from within supply chain and logistics will help you understand what we do and how you can best support frontline staff and our customers.
