Job Scope:
- Assist Respiratory Therapist in the maintenance of ventilators and respiratory therapy equipment
- Assemble, set-up ventilators, checking noxbox inhaled nitric oxide machine, and other related respiratory therapy equipment
- Perform pre-use testing on ventilators
- Work closely with Central Sterile Supply Department for cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of the equipment
- Work closely with biomedical engineering department for preventive maintenance and servicing or repair of respiratory equipment
- To monitor and ensure sufficient supply of respiratory forms and consumable items in the department
- Perform photocopying, binding, filing and distribution of documents and forms
- To comply infection control practices
- To perform ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum a Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering or related field
- Competent in MS Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
