The successful incumbent will support the Senior Manager in managing the stores' inventory and daily production in YR Bakery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks, reconciliation processes, and effective inventory storage control measures.
- Plan with bakers to manage the scheduled retrieval of stocks from storage space to the Bakery production floor.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and bakers’ team to manage timely stock replenishment.
- Maintain and organize an efficient storage space to facilitate easy access and retrieval of products.
- Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with storage guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with the team to address inventory-related issues and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Supervise daily bakery operations to ensure processes are adhered to, ensure quality inspections, and timely/accurate delivery to customers.
Requirements
- Higher Nitec/Diploma in Logistics/ Manufacturing/ Food & Beverage Operations.
- Possess relevant work experience in inventory management or operations roles (preferably in the F&B industry)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of food handling, food safety & hygiene standards.
