Responsibilitie

  1. Store Operations: Managing all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
  2. Sales and Profitability: Achieve sales targets,monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to achieve sales goals. Analyzing sales data and identifying opportunities for growth. Monitoring expenses and proposing cost controlmeasures to maximizeprofitability.
  3. Staff Management: Implement training programs, and supervising store staff. Settingperformance expectations and providing ongoingfeedback. Scheduling shifts and managing payroll. Motivating and engagingemployees to ensure a high level of customer service.
  4. Customer Service: Ensuringexceptional customer servicestandards are met by the store staff. Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and resolving any issues that may arise. Creating a positive shopping experience for customers and building customerloyalty.
  5. Merchandising and VisualPresentation: Overseeing productplacement and visual displays to optimize sales and create an appealing shopping environment as per company policy.
  6. Marketing and Promotions: Collaborating with the marketing team to implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and providing feedback to Cluster Manager.
  7. Safety and Security: Ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures. Implementing loss prevention measuresto minimize theftand protect companyassets.
  8. Store Policies and Procedures: Enforcing company policies and procedures. Keepingup to date with industrytrends and implementing best practices to enhance store operations
  9. Relationship Management: Buildingand maintaining positiverelationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors. Collaborating with other departments, such as human resources, to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum GCE O’levelor equivalent required; a degree in business or retail management is preferred. Previous experience in retail, such as assistant manager or supervisor roles, is highly desirable.
  • Retail Knowledge and Skills: Minimum5 years in retail industrywith minimum 3 years in the StoreManager role. Understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, merchandising, and customer service principles. Familiarity with inventory management and retail software.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, provideclear communication and feedback, delegatetasks, and solveproblems.
  • Sales and Business Acumen: Proven track record in achieving sales targets, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies for growth. Financial management skillsand knowledge of budgeting and profitability analysis.
  • Customer Service Focus:Commitment to exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and complaints, and building customerrelationships.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills:Strong organizational skillsto manage store operations, inventory, and staff scheduling. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve issues,think critically, and make sound decisions.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours,including weekends and holidays. Adaptability to changing circumstances and multitasking effectively.
