Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial activities, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient office administration.
About the job
- MAS Reporting: Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Head Office Reporting: Coordinate and manage reporting activities to the head office, providing timely and accurate financial information.
- MAS Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory updates and ensure compliance with MAS guidelines and requirements across all finance operations.
- HR Tasks: Oversee HR-related functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
- Office Administration: Manage office administration duties, including facilities management, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Financial Management: Supervise financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights to support business growth and sustainability.
- Internal Controls: Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and reporting requirements, with proven experience in MAS compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
