Assistant, Accounts Manager (Construction, QuickBooks System)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full sets of accounts.
  • In charge of month-end, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
  • In charge of correctly preparing government and state tax documentation.
  • Manage monthly accounting and depreciation transactions.
  • Prepare management reports and all other accounting reports.
  • Oversee daily cash flow activities.
  • Work closely with the Finance Department, Project Management and Cost Control Department.
  • Provide supervision to junior finance staff.
  • Manage audit-related issues from corporate tax agents, government agencies, and external auditors, including creating audit schedules.
  • Ensure that all accounting practices adhere to the company's requirements and finance policy.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 5 – 7 years’ experience of accounting experience, preferably with 2 – 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Prior knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting System will be an added advantage.
